Student Support Services Home » About Us
The Student Support Services (also referred to as “SSS”) project at Northwestern State, funded by a Federal TRIO grant of $404,656, exists to eliminate barriers to graduation for 360 low income, first generation and disabled students through providing intensive, intrusive and effective academic and student services.
The project's mission correlates with the University's Mission Statement which reads in part, "Northwestern State University is a responsive, student oriented institution…” and to two of its four Goals: 1) To create and maintain a responsive, student-oriented environment; and 2) to provide programs, services, and operations throughout the University of high quality and effectiveness.
