The TRiO Student Support Services  (also referred to as “TRiO SSS”) project at Northwestern State, funded by a US Department of Education grant, exists to eliminate barriers to graduation for 360 selected students through the provision of intensive and intrusive academic and student services. In the time TRiO SSS has been at Northwestern, the project has assisted thousands of students in their goal to become college graduates.

The project's mission correlates with the University's Mission Statement which reads in part, "Northwestern State University is a responsive, student-oriented institution..." and to that end quality services are provided that go above and beyond the norm to help a select group of students excel in their chosen degree plan.

Please take a look at the services provided to see if there's any way we can help you!
