The Student Support Services  (also referred to as “SSS”) project at Northwestern State, funded by a Federal TRIO grant, exists to eliminate barriers to graduation for 360 low income, first generation and disabled students through providing intensive and effective academic and student services. In the time we have been here at Northwestern, we have assisted thousands of students in their goal to become college graduates.

The project's mission correlates with the University's Mission Statement which reads in part, "Northwestern State University is a responsive, student-oriented institution..." and to that end we provide quality services that go above and beyond the norm to help a select group of students excel in their chosen degree plan.

Please take a look at the services we provide and see if there's any way we can help you!
